Spend a week in early April 2016 with my husband in Aqaba. Nice small town with friendly people and easy to make trips to all over Jordan. We had Abdulla Qabaa as our driver and I can warmly recomend him. We took a half a day trip to Wadi rum, a day in Petra and a day in Dead sea. Abdulla was very friendly and polite and everything run smoothly. We look forward for the next trip to Jordan because there are still a lot left to see.

Having Mr. Mohammad's company as your taxi service provider is worthy and a good-decision. My friend and I only confirmed the reservation 2 days before our arrival in Amman but they never disappoint us. They are on-time, trustworthy, reliable and price is right. One email and you'll get the quick response. I never experienced such arrangement in my trips except his company. Indeed, they deserve accolades and more clients. My wife and I traveled together to Aqaba 2 weeks ago and had contacted Mr. Mohammad in advance to organize a transfer from the airport to our hotel in the city center. Even though we arrived in the middle of the night at 3am, Mr. Mohammad was already waiting for us at the airport with a sign mentioning our names. He then took us to our hotel and on the way already gave us directions how to get to Aqaba city center from our hotel the next day. After relaxing one day at the beach, we then traveled to Petra. Mr. Mohammad picked us up in our hotel in the morning and drove us to Petra while on the way giving us plenty of time to take photos and buy some souvenirs and a very large shop with very friendly people. We spent 4 hours in Petra and were then taken to a very good restaurant close by where we had a delicious lunch. Finally, on our last day in Jordan, Mr. Mohammad picked us up once again in our hotel and drove us to the Aqaba-Eilat border. During all our communication before, during and after our visit to Jordan, Mr. Mohammad has been very professional, friendly, patient and told us a lot of interesting facts about Jordan. His English is excellent, his car is luxurious, big, clean and has airconditioning. He charges a very reasonable price and we would both highly recommend Mr. Mohammed for any tourists coming to Jordan. Our trip to Jordan was great and we would like to thank Mr. Mohammad once again for making our vacation such a great experience!

I booked our 6 day tour with Jordan Horizons from our home country. They were extremely responsive and helped chart out our itinerary as we wanted. Excellent Tour! Very affordable price for all of the activities. We were crossing the border from Israel and they were very helpful helping us cross into Jordan. We were a group of 5 and we were transported in an air-conditioned van that was very spacious, it came with wifi as well. We were dropped off at Petra, spent time exploring there and then continued on to Wadi Rum where they arranged for an excellent 2-hour Wadi Rum jeep tour. This tour was very affordable ($35 USD for all of us) and took us all throughout the desert. We were then dropped off at the border. All of this was done at times we had requested. They provided us with water throughout the day. Everyone spoke good English. The driver stopped to show us good photo opportunities and at rest points to pick up food etc. I cannot recommend this company enough. The process of booking was easy and seamless, very affordable and excellent tour!

We had a WONDERFUL experience with this company on a day stop from a cruise ship. The tours offerred on the cruise were quite a bit more expensive and not as comprehensive. Ali was our superb driver for the day and Abdullah (the lovely and hospitable Bedouin) took us into Wadi Rum for a a couple of hours. We were a bit worried (out of our comfort zone) but I cannot speak highly enough of the service and the experience.

I organised this tour to Petra from the Port of Aqaba for a small group from our cruise ship. Guide and driver were great. Guide very informative and knowledgeable. Being a small group tour we were able to get away from Aqaba and be on our way for the reasonably long drive to Petra. Our guide offered a good narration along the way and then accompanied us into the historic area of Petra with a great overview of what we were seeing as we walked down the Siq to the Treasury. The group had different interests and physical abilities so we then split up and finally met up again in the entry area to Petra. We rejoined our transport van and enjoyed a tasty Jordanian buffet lunch before heading back to our cruise ship. It was great to do this as a small group and also our tour cost a lot less than the excursion organised by the cruise comapny.

things Il be seeing in Petra. CRWT was able to cater as per my arrival time and arranged accordingly. My driver, Sam was amazing as he kept me entertained during my 3 hours journey to and fro Petra with lots of explanation about Jordan. He even got me free snacks and dinner along the way. My tour guide at Petra was informative nd was able to explain the significant sculptures inside Petra but he was very quick in his explanation. Had difficulties in concentrating while taking photos because his narration was fast paced. But it was not a big deal as I used the extra time to hike the hills to get a perfect shot of the Treasury. Gave a feedback about this to Mr Hisham, the manager and he gave a Jordan plate as a souvenir in return and asked for apologees. Overall tour arrangement was good and would recommend CRWT tour to anyone.

We were in Aqaba for 3 nights in Movenpick. With 4 couples and 2 kids. The whole vacation was arranged via 'Jordan Horizons Tours', and it was absolutely AMAZING!!! I'm glad I booked with JHT, though we only learned of them through TripAdvisor. It was a bit worrying at first. But Mr Abdullah is very helpful. He was very patient with me and answered all my questions. He kept assuring me that they are very flexible and accommodating. And he's right.The driver (Ali) was very punctual. In fact, they always arrived before the appointed time. The guide (Louis or Mohannad?) is very friendly and professional. He played a trick while leading the group in Petra. Mr. Abdulla is a great driver. We had a special request to pick us up in Amman airport, then to go to Petra. On the next day to drive to Wadi Rum and on the next day to drive to the airport in Aqaba. Everything went very well and safe! Abdulla was also very helpful with extra stops for pictures and even for an extra stop for small Petra and the oldest village in Jordan (10000yrs old). The fact he did not know this village himslef took us one hour extra to find it in the desert but we made it. Abdulla was very patient and after in the Aqaba's airport we have got a small bottle colored our names in it. Thanks a lot, Abdulla! I came across Abdulla's email address in some blogs about visiting Petra from the port of Aqaba in Jordan. Booking a car online in advance for my husband and me was really easy and made the trip to Petra from the port really comfortable and pleasant. The car was very clean and air conditioned and the driver, whose English was quite good, answered any questions we had and picked us up promptly in the morning and in Petra after we visited that amazing city. If you use their service, make sure you ask them to pick you up at the port right at the ship and not in the city of Aqaba. It's a little more expensive, but well worth it. Another thing I. would suggest is to bring some chocolate for the driver and his family - they really appreciate it. We paid the driver in cash (dollars) and used our credit card for the entrance fee at Petra. Everything worked out perfectly.

We had a great time in Jordan. Didn’t know what to expect, but what I saw on documentaries. Jordan Horizons Tour delivered exactly on everything promised. Our Driver Issa was amazing, really took good care, and had our best interest in mind. Ask for him by name! We travel a lot, but this is on the top. I will use Jordan Horizons Tour again. Our booking agent (Alla) was good to work with. All in All, there is not much I would change about this trip. We saw, and experienced so much. Jordan is a very friendly and amazing country- so much to see!

We stayed in Jordan in March.We read about Mohammed in the Internet and it was very easy to get in contact with him by E-Mail andWhatsApp.Since our arrival we were driven in a comfortable car by Ali(Team Mohammed), a very friendly young man, a safe driver and his englisch was perfect.He managed a Jeep Safari to Wadi Rum with an exzellent guide for us.The Sunset was amazing. My husband and I were visiting Israel for 3 weeks March to April of this year and had gone back and forth about also visiting Petra. A friend who’d gone the year before gave us Mohammad’s contact information and we are so glad he did! We had looked at the big tour buses going to Petra and they were about the same price as this but it was a one day trip (a very long and uncomfortable day I am sure). With Mohammad we were able to be picked up at the airport, have a whole day in Petra (vs just a few hours with a big bus tour), take part in Petra but night (a must!!), and spend the night in a nice hotel nearby. The next day we were driven to Wadi Rum where our Bedouin guide took us around in a pick up truck (this was so fun!), we got to ride camels and stay at the Bedouin camp at night. The following day we were dropped off at the airport. They had also made all the visa arrangements for us. The whole thing was an amazing experience! We ended up doing the tour with another couple we are friends with and it was just us 4 and our driver in a very comfortable large van. I honestly feel this is the best money we’ve ever spent, the experience was out of this world and the service provided by Mohammad’s people is top notch. I am not the type to want to do anything twice (there’s so much in this world to do and see!) but this is something I’d do again in a heartbeat. Highly highly recommend not doing a big crowded bus tour and doing Mohammad’s tour!!! You will not regret it!

Been wanting to visit Jordan and finally found time for it. Our tour guide, Hisham, was recommended by a friend of mine. Days before the trip, I was in contact with him, I gave my itinerary and he suggested his, too. Having the final itinerary, we were able to push thru this trip. He fetched us from the airport and dropped us off in our hotel. There were days we had to amend the itinerary due to bad weather and he never lets us get disappointed. He was very kind to help us and enjoy our trip. Apart from that, he helped us book The Martian Dome in Wadi Rum at a very good price. Every cent we spent was totally worth it. We also enjoyed the trip because of him, he was very approachable and friendly. It wasn’t a boring drive too cause he’s such a funny guy. I would highly recommend him to all tourists who want to see the wonderful country of Jordan.

We had a perfect day with this company. First we were picked up at the cruise ship terminal then our driver arranged wifi for our drive into Petra and stopped anywhere we wanted for photos. He took us into Petra and introduced us to our guide then went to wait for us. Our guide walked us into Petra and gave us a tour for about an hour and a half then left. We caught camels to ride from the many people there with animals then walked back up to the entrance of Petra.It is an amazing place. Our driver met us at the entrance then took us out for lunch at a nearby hotel. The food was great. I would recommend this company to anyone wanting a tour in Jordan.

We contacted Jordan Horizon Tours many months before our trip to Jordan. They were very prompt with their responses and very quickly we’d arranged for driver to pick us up at King Hussein International Airport - Aqaba and drop us at our hotel, then pick us up the next morning and drive us up to Petra. We then stayed overnight at Petra after touring Petra. Again, like clockwork, our Jordan Horizon Tours driver was there to meet us to drive us back to Aqaba, with an awesome stop for a couple of hours at the amazing Wadi Rum. We then overnighted at Aqaba again, and our driver there again the next morning, very early morning that is, to drive us to King Hussein International Airport for our flight through to Amman. We had reservations with JHT for a private tour with guide to Petra. We were already in Dubai when USA requested citizens come home immediately or be quarantined in Europe. The Jordan Horizon Tours are definitely the best tour company ever. They arranged everything from our itinerary and we spent a great time without thinking of any details. The driver picked up my family from the Aqaba airport, then we went to Petra. Our journey included Petra, the Dead Sea and Wadi Rum. My wife and I were on a cruise from Rome to Dubai which included a one-day stop in Aqaba. We had visited Petra more than 20 years ago, but didn't want to miss a chance to see it again, so I made arrangements with Andrea at Jordan Horizon Tours for a tour which included a total of 14 participants. From that day forward, every minute detail was handled by Andrea and all I had to do was make sure the 14 of us were on the pier at the designated time, 0630, which we were. And then we met our guide, Mamoun Ali Nawafleh, who without a doubt was the best tour guide I have ever had. He is a researcher, and author archeoastronomist who has been studying and researching Petra over the past 21 years. Due to our early start, we were at the Petra Visitors Center hours before 47 busses each carrying 50 people from another cruise ship arrived. We had a leisurely stroll through the canyons and listened intently to Mamoun's views of how and why Petra began and survived, and how they created items like calendars, which the rest of the world didn't see for millennia. But of course, the highlight of the day is rounding the last corner in the canyon and seeing the Treasury in it's full glory. If I had the time and space, I would list some of the "discoveries" that Mamoun has made, but suffice it to say, he is the only guide, and Jordan Horizon Tours is the only tour company that I would recommend for a visit to Petra. And yes, even with a stop for lunch, we were back at the pier and the ship at the designated time. Thank you Andrea and Mamoun!

My first holiday to Jordan - booked online with Jordan Horizons - visited Petra, Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea. The trip was very well organised by Mohammed Shamaseen, the operations manager. I used a driver / guide from JH - Mohammed. Mohammed was excellent in every way. He speaks good English, is knowledgeable about the geography and history of Jordan. A safe and trusted driver and a good travel companion! The best part of my trip was Wadi Rum - camping overnight in the desert, watching the sun set and rise early the next morning and the amazing peace and stillness of the desert in Wadi Rum was extraordinary. Go there, use JH and I hope you may meet Mohammed. If you go to Petra, make it an overnight stop there. The ancient city that is Petra needs a whole day's visit. Go early in the morning so that you can avoid the crowds and so take photos without people in the foreground. The Dead Sea (a day visit) - the floating and covering yourself in the special mud - was nothing special in the end. If you're short on time, skip this. Petra and Wadi Rum are "must do" places!

I joined a one day tour group, they picked you up and take you to the border, make sure everything is alright with the custom and security checking, after that a very funny tour guide took us to Petra. It was a big group, it took us a lot of time waiting at the border and getting the visa. Weather was cold 12 celcius during the day, but it’s better than in summer, a lot of walking.

I took a tour to Petra with Jordan Horizon Tours and had a great time. As we left the cruise ship in Aqaba, a van was waiting to take our group of 9 to Petra. The van was clean, the air conditioning worked, and the driver was very good. What made the tour exceptional was our guide Ma'moun Alnawafleh who provided excellent insights about Petra and life in Jordan. As he works as an archaeologist in Petra, he provided his perspective about the significance of structures in Petra that were thought provoking and different than the explanation that most guides give. This tour was special because our guide had years of hands on experience in Petra. One thing to be aware of is that the walk from the visitors center to the historic part of Petra is downhill, so expect a more strenuous uphill walk on the return trip - be in reasonably good shape or the walk back to the visitors center will be a struggle.

I've written dozens of reviews for Tripadvisor and have never been able to say that what we received from any company was "near perfect". However, Jordan Horizons' tour of Petra richly deserves a 5+ rating. It exceeded all of my expectations. I booked a small group (9 person), nine hour tour with this company in April, seven months ahead of our cruise ship's arrival at the Aqaba port. The price per person was $150 US as opposed to $389 pp for the cruise ship's tour with 40 people in an old bus. The Jordan Horizons' team arrived early, we all paid for the tour, met our driver and guide, and left the port 10 minutes ahead of schedule. Their vehicle was a new Toyota van that was clean, comfortable, and air conditioned as they had promised. The tour guide was named Mamoun. He was smart, cool, had excellent English, and was very, very knowledgeable. In fact, we found out he is an archeoastronomist who lives in Petra and teaches at a local university. His specialty is the archeology of Petra specifically as it applies to the astronomical knowledge of the ancient Nabatean civilization. For 20 years he has been involved with digs and research at the site. Mamoun stopped at several locations during our 2 km walk along the Sik and used a laser pointer to show us evidence that the Nabateans had very advanced knowledge about the stars and had made many amazing technological discoveries. Once we arrived at the Treasury, he told us the functions of the various buildings and caves that we saw and showed us evidence that the valley is not full of tombs as most other tour guides were telling their groups. After almost 4 hours of walking and learning, Mamoun gave us an hour on our own to stroll back along the Siq to the Visitors' Center. Then we were taken to a nearby hotel and had a nice buffet lunch consisting of a wide selection of delicious Jordanian dishes. My only minor complaint would be that a soft drink or fruit juice was not included. We were merely given 2 large bottles of water to share among our 9 person group. After lunch, on our drive back to the port Mamoun told us a lot of interesting facts about Jordanian customs, living conditions, and politics. We arrived at our ship exactly at the time I had requested I love companies that keep their promises so I would very, very, very highly recommend Jordan Horizons. And be sure to ask for Mamoun; most of the credit for a superb tour belongs to him.

Petra/Wadi Rum /Dead Sea... Our short vacation was arranged by JHT. We were met at the airport by a representative who assisted with our visas and were then met by our driver... Who was a gem! We went straight to Petra city from the airport where we spent the night and went to the ancient site the following morning. We had a guide who explained the history and the little secrets of Petra which made it even more amazing! Our driver met us after this and took us to Wadi Rum... We spent the afternoon riding camels, visiting an oasis, climbing a sand dune and watching the sunset. We spent the night at Beyond Wadi Rum camp with friendly and respectful people who cooked and danced for us. The following morning our driver took us to our hotel at the dead sea where we spent our remaining time until leaving for home. JHT organised everything for us in order to utilise all our time and to see as much as possible in the short time we had. And at very good prices! I have recommended JHT many times and have used them twice myself. Very polite, helpful and trustworthy and everything sorted via email and WhatsApp.

We have crossed the border from Eilat - spent three nights in Jordan. Tour: day 1 in Wadi Rum - day 2 A long day in Petra - day 3 a few hours in Little-Petra. We have asked for three stars hotels & were very satisfied with the ones that were book for us. Our tour was Beautifully arranged - All was on time - Wonderful guids - We had a realy Great time - Enjoyed it alot & have met very nice people along the way... Truely Recommended - !
